As an international, professional organization, we:
provide current and emerging information and research results
develop and uphold methods of analysis used in global trade and research
conduct proficiency testing, provide reference materials, and collaborate with other standards developers
facilitate and strengthen relationships between professionals resulting in a robust, collaborative community
work with other scientific societies and related organizations to promote scientific advancement
